Opening a Private or Incognito Window

Here are the instructions on how to open a Private or Incognito window in your browser to resolve login issues with your GSB O365, Google, or single sign-on (SSO) associated apps and accounts. Instructions are provided for Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge and Brave browsers as well as Chrome and Safari on an iPhone. The instructions will be identical or nearly identical on an Android phone running Chrome.


In the Chrome Browser:


Step 1)  Click the three dots in the upper right of the window to open the menu.


Step 2) Click the New Incognito Window menu item to open a new window.


Step 3) A new window will open. Confirm you are Incognito by looking for the designation at the top right.


In the Microsoft Edge Browser:


Step 1)  Click the three dots in the upper right of the window to open the menu.


Step 2) Click the New InPrivate Window menu item to open a new window.


Step 3) A new window will open. Confirm you are InPrivate by looking for the designation at the top right.


In the Brave Browser:


Step 1)  Click the three dots in the upper right of the window to open the menu.


Step 2) Click the New Private Window menu item to open a new window.


Step 3) A new window will open. Confirm you are Private by looking for the designation (sunglasses) at the top right.


In the Chrome browser on an iPhone/iPad:


Step 1)  Touch the three dots in the lower right of the window to open the menu.


Step 2) Touch the New Incognito Tab button to open a new Incognito tab.
Step 3) A new tab will open. Confirm you are Incognito by looking for the "You've gone Incognito" designation. Then navigate to the Knightsite login page by either typing the URL in the search bar or typing gsbschool.org and using the menu on our website to get to the login page.


In the Safari browser on an iPhone/iPad:


Step 1)  Touch the Window icon in the lower right of the window to open the menu.


Step 2) Touch the Tab dropdown list to open a the Tab Groups menu.


Step 3) Touch the Private button to view your Private tabs.


Step 4) A new screen will open. Confirm you are Private by looking for the "Private Browsing Mode" designation. Touch the Plus sign at the lower left to open a new tab.


Step 5) Navigate to the Knightsite login page by either typing the URL in the search bar or typing gsbschool.org and using the menu on our website to get to the login page.
