This article explains how to access the Knightsite calendar from other calendar apps using the RSS feed function.

PART ONE: Choosing a calendar to access in another app

Step 1) Navigate to the calendar section of Knightsite. Click the RSS Feed icon and a window will pop-up with options for you to choose a calendar or calendars to subscribe to.

Step 2) In the pop-up window, you can either select the entire calendar or select only specific calendars to subscribe to. To select the entire calendar, "right-click" My Calendars and select Copy Link Address so that you can paste it in the calendar app of your choosing. See Step 3 to only subscribe to a specific calendar.

Step 3) To subscribe to only a specific calendar, select the triangle next to the Individual Filter Feeds to see an expanded view of the individual calendars.

Step 4) "Right-click" the individual calendar you want (e.g., Assignments, Schedule, etc.) and select Copy Link Address so that you can paste it in the calendar app of your choosing.

PART TWO: Adding the Knightsite calendar to your desired app or other calendar

Step 1) Open the calendar or app where you want to add the selected Knightsite calendar and follow the instructions on adding an Internet Calendar (webcal, URL, or RSS feed).

The instructions below show the steps to add the selected Knightsite calendar to a Google Calendar and an Outlook Calendar

For Google Calendars, select the plus icon next to Other Calendars.

Next, select From URL in the pop-up window.

Next, paste the copied link from above into the From URL field in the pop-up window and select Add Calendar.

For Outlook Calendars, select Add Calendar from the left sidebar.

Then, paste the URL in to the field and type a name for the calendar. You may also choose a custom color and icon, as well as decide where the calendar should appear in your calendar groups. When done, select Import.
