Logging Into IXL

While the images may look slightly different between devices, this process will be the same on an iPad/tablet, Mac, PC or Chromebook. We recommend using the Chrome browser on a computer or the IXL app on a tablet.

Option #1 - Logging in with a browser:

Step 1) Navigate to the GSB IXL login page: https://www.ixl.com/signin/gillstbernards

Step 2) Click the Sign in with Google button.

Step 3) Enter the students email address (or select it from the list if you've previously signed in with that account) and hit Next.

Step 4) If prompted, enter the student's address again at the Microsoft login and click Next.
Step 5) Enter the students password and click Next.

If another student or parent account is signed into the browser, SSO with Google may attempt to use that account instead of the student's account and you will receive an error when trying to login. To avoid this, be sure that no other account is signed into the browser OR open an "new private window" or "new incognito window" and login from there. You can access this feature by clicking the three dots or three lines in the upper right corner of your browser and selecting the appropriate choice from the dropdown menu.

Option #2 - Logging in with the IXL app on iPad:

Step 1) Download and Install the IXL app on your iPad.

Step 2) Open the Settings app on your iPad.

Step 3) Scroll down and press the IXL settings button.

Step 4) Touch the blank area next to Custom Sign-in @.

Step 5) Type "gillstbernards" in the field and hit Return.

Step 6) Go back and Open the IXL app. Press Sign in at the bottom of the screen.

Step 7) Press the Sign in with Google button.

Step 8) Enter the student's email address - or choose it from a list if it appears after you've pressed the sign-in button. Then press Next.

Step 8) If this is the first time signing in - you'll be taken to the Microsoft login prompt. Enter the student's email address, then press Next.
Step 9) Enter the student's email password, then press Sign in.
