Updating your Zoom Client Software

Use the following steps to update your Zoom client software to the latest version.


Step 1) Open your Zoom application on your computer. If you don't see the zoom icon on your desktop or taskbar, you can search for it by typing "zoom" into the search bar of your desktop.

 

Step 2) Once the Zoom app opens, you'll see the Version number listed at the bottom of the screen. If you are automatically signed in when you open the app, you can go directly to Step 3


Step 3) Once you sign in, you'll be shown a notification at the top of the window if you need to update your software to the latest version. Click Update Now to begin the update.


Step 4) A new window will open showing you your current version and the version you'll update to. Click the Install button to continue.


Step 5) The application will download the update, install it and restart. After that completes, you should see the notification that the client was successfully updated.
