The steps below will cover how to share files and folders using OneDrive.

STEP 1) From within OneDrive, hover over the file or folder you would like to share and click the 3 dots to Show Actions.

STEP 2) From the Show Actions menu, select Share. A new window will open.

STEP 3) From the Send Link window, type the name, group or email address of the person your would like to share with.

You are able to share your file or folder with multiple individuals by entering them one at a time.

STEP 4) By default, your file will be editable by anyone you choose to share it with. To change this, click on Anyone with the link can edit. A new window will open. Here you will be able to disallow editing by unchecking the Allow editing box. Hit Apply.

STEP 5) Once you have added all of the intended recipients and set the editing permissions, click Send. A link to the shared document or folder will be emailed to each individual you've included.

Optional: You may also copy and paste the link by clicking the Copy button and then pasting it into an email.

Tips:

• You can also share from within an open application. Simply click the File drop down, select Share and then Share with People. You can then continue with Step 3.
