Installing Office 365 on Your Computer

While the images may look slightly different between devices, this process will be the similar on a Mac or Windows PC. We recommend using the Chrome browser while on a computer.


With your GSB Microsoft account, you may install the full offline Office 365 apps on up to five computers.


Installation Steps (using Chrome):


Step 1) Navigate to the Office365 login page: https://www.office.com/


Step 2) Sign in using your GSB email and password.

If you need specific instructions and/or help logging in to Office 365, CLICK HERE

Step 3) On the left hand menu, click the Apps button 

Step 4) Click the button labelled Install Office in the upper right hand portion of the window.


Step 5) You can now select Office 365 apps to start downloading the common apps or Other install options to choose other apps or language options.


Step 6) A new tab will open click the Install Office button in the new tab.


Step 7) Click Save in file explorer.

Step 8) The installation file downloading will appear in the upper right hand portion of the window (if using the Chrome browser). Once the download is complete, you can double-click the file to begin the installation.
